I had their spicy bolognese pasta and it was pretty good. My only complaint is the price for the value of the food. But other than that no complaints - I also appreciate the option to get the pasta gluten free

Love this place! Great service and food, and such a fun vibe and decor. I would literally buy some of their decor off them, I loved it so much. I ordered the summer corn sausage and ziti which was fantastic, and a side Caesar salad which honestly did not at all taste like Caesar dressing but I wasn't mad at it. My friend got the penne a la vodka and truffle fries and she really enjoyed it. Service was great. Our server was very helpful in helping us decide what to order and was very quick on bringing us everything we asked for. I would absolutely come back!

My absolute FAVORITE food place in Philly! I absolutely adore everybody in here, the staff is always very nice & welcoming. I love the spooky atmosphere & the movie clips that play in the front too. The whole place is a vibe. I've been eating here since they were only a delivery service on doordash, their food has been delicious since day 1. Now they added that amazing Chunk Steak to their menu & it has me foaming at the mouth it's so good. Their meal creations are 10/10 too, just amazing service all around. My only complaint would be the serving sizes, the prices are going up and the serving sizes are going down. When you guys first opened on doordash the proportions were great! I remember getting a huge platter of pasta back in the DoorDash only days. I do love you guys tho & I know everything is getting more expensive I just wish if I'm being charged alil more I get more food & not less. Definitely is not a deterrent to me tho, I will always eat here just not everyday like I used to.

LOVE!! Super cute restaurant, great theming and decor. The menu and food are in theme as well. And the tiki drinks in the monster heads are so fab. The entire menu is plant based so I didn't have to ask questions or request modifications (thank you!!). Srsly just so thrilled to have an entire plant based restaurant! Service est compris but that is fine because they make it very clear up front. Plus my server was splendid. Location is wonderful, super inclusive. Just a wonderful experience in total. A MUST DO!!

I had a great celebratory dinner here. First time and was blown away. EVERYTHING is vegan. And the restaurant was busy! And everyone seemed happy! Menu options were diverse, food was served hot, and it was good! Our server was friendly and chatty. It's good we don't live in the city, we might be there a few times a week. Looking forward to going back.

Monster Vegan has great vegan food with a punky vibe that I can't compare to anywhere else I've been. I was so excited to make my way through the menu as the menu is wide and enticing between the apps, pastas, "steak", sandwiches and tacos. The korean bbq wings were my favorite item of the evening, they were crispy, tangy and sweet and really felt "meaty" according to my meat-eating friend. The wasabi ranch that came on the side was great, didn't have a strong wasabi flavor but I didn't mind that. The grilled pear ricotta was not the best vegan cheese I've ever had - it's tofu as opposed to cashew based which lead to a less creamy cheese. The pears that were on top of it also could have been cooked down more for a sweeter flavor. The carnitas tacos were great, I really loved the meat substitute they used for the "pork" and it went so well with the pineapple and elote topping. The fried chicken banh mi was also solid - the fried chicken cutlets were a bit thin but the general tso brussel sprouts on top were 10/10. I also loved the "Elvira's Movie Macabre" cocktail, it was lightly sweet, floral and I loved the vegan egg white topping. Service here was great, our waitress checked in on us all night and have great recommendations. We came closer to closing than we were aiming for but didn't feel rushed one bit. Would definitely come again when craving vegan food that just hits the spot, solid eats that make you forget it's completely plant based.

This is such a wonderful restaurant! As a spooky chick myself, I can always appreciate anything horror themed so this place did not disappoint. The food was like junk food but it was so good lol. Definitely come here if you're not trying to stick to a diet or healthy eating. They have a bunch of stuff like cheese fries and cheesesteak sandwiches. Everything we had was bomb but the best thing was the Caesar salad. I am a vegan Caesar salad subject matter expert and this was punching for the top cease salad yet (toss up between here and Planta- feel free to reference that review of mine for more info). Overall great fun atmosphere with the spooky theme and references. Great service, our server was kind and gave great recs. Will be back soon!

I am admittedly a vegan-food loving omnivore due to a dairy allergy but I can't turn down an opportunity to get a "cheesy" pasta that won't make me sick. It is hard to decide what to order since the whole menu looks delicious. I opted for the Alfredo pasta dish with a chicken cutlet. It was so rich and flavorful. The portions were large so I was able to take some home. I also appreciate that they offer mocktails and a n/a beer option. I did take off one star as service was on the slower side. The food came out fast, but our server was a little slow with everything else. They also add on a required 20% gratuity on every check.

Fuck yes. YESSSSSS! Been here twice, and it does not disappoint. In fact, it excels in every way! The menu is fabulous, and they always have new and thematic specials, which keeps things interesting. The layout is surprisingly swanky! It feels like a sexy cocktail lounge got dipped in a vat of vegan horror. :-) The chicken dishes are fun (I just really love fake chicken) and their Korean wings?!?! Holy shit! They're amazing! The drinks are incredible and all served in thematic, skull shaped glasses. I wish their movies in the movie room were year round though, that's my only gripe. It wouldn't take much to just have movies playing on a loop, right? I'm dying to sit and watch a flick there, but I am hoping it's not just an October thing. My fav place so far in Philly, hands down! Great for any type of eater.

We were walking around in the area looking for a restaurant to stumble into and once we saw how crazy the line was for monster vegan, we decided to follow the crowd lol Tables had a 90 minute wait but bar seating was open and of course that's what we chose. The ambiance reminded me of '70s and '80s horror movies, which I adore. They were playing black and white horror flicks on a big screen and the tire place was decorated like you stepped into a futuristic Halloween party. We ordered some horror movie theme drinks that both basically tasted the same. The drinks weren't bad at all but it basically was a rum punch type taste. . I ordered the vegan burger and fries. The fries were pretty tasty and the burger wasn't bad but not as put together as I would like. I feel like the condiments kind of outweighed the burger itself but it was still a solid burger. The price point is what you would expect for a center city trendy bar restaurant. Because of my love of horror movies and alternative eating options, I would definitely come back for happy hour. :-)
